Yes!! Any electrician working in Australia is required to issue a certificate of electrical safety (coes) when completing any amount of electrical work. You will generally receive your coes from TECHSMART ELECTRICAL 1-2 days from completing the job.

We can get the job booked as soon as you get in contact with us to discuss the requirements. We endeavor to get the booked in and completed within a week from contacting us. We will provide a time of arrival and estimate time of completion upon booking.

An RCD stands for residual current device and usually protects up to three circuits in the average household or business. These are also known as safety switches.

A RCBO usually protects one circuit and can avoid losing three circuits or more in the case of a fault scenario. These are preferred by TECHSMART ELECTRICAL as they take up less room in your switchboard and are now the most commonly used device for earth leakage detection. These can also be called safety switches or combos as they protect the cable from overcurrent and protect the end user from electrocution in a fault scenario.

When a person makes direct contact with electricity, it is directed away from its main path in the electrical circuit and instead goes through the person’s body to earth. A safety switch can detect the change in the electrical circuit and switches the power off in as little as 0.3 seconds.

If a product out of warranty has failed, we will try our best to keep replacement cost to a minimum.
